About Me.

After completing my fashion studies at A level, I found myself drawn to the theatrical and costuming aspects of garment design and production. This passion propelled me to pursue a degree in Costume Design and Making at university. Over the course of my degree, I have had the opportunity to develop my skills in a variety of areas, including free-hand machine embroidery and costume construction.

For my final self-directed project, I created an 1820s Regency evening dress that showcased my embroidery skills and required full undergarments to create the desired silhouette. I also designed and constructed a full ballgown for a Panto fairy godmother, complete with props, as part of a class project.

My interest in the bridal industry was further piqued during my time working at a wedding venue for several years. This experience allowed me to witness first-hand the importance of attention to detail and the impact that a beautiful gown can have on a bride's special day.

I have always had a passion for the art of sewing and design, which was greatly inspired by my grandmother who was a talented seamstress. As a child, I spent countless hours in her sewing room, watching her create intricate children's toys and other beautiful creations. This early exposure to the world of sewing and design ignited a spark in me that has grown into a lifelong passion for costume design and making.
